During Connect 2010, V Somasundaram, Chief General Manager, Chennai Metro Rail Limited had shared the progress on Chennai Metro Rail Project, phase 1 [More details here]

Here is the first look of the much hyped and eagerly awaited Chennai Metro Rail. The coaches were revealed recently in Bangalore and will be used for the Bangalore Metro, which is expected to be completed late this year or early next year.

Similar prototypes will be used for our very own Chennai Metro, which is still in the initial stages and is expected to be complete by 2014 or 2015.
